How to make gold at level 1 to 10

• Vendors sell it for 9s 5c and buy it back for 1s 81c. That is the ceiling for an auction price while vendors stock it.
• Crafted by Leatherworking at skill 40; the recipe comes from a trainer. Reagents below.
• Consumed by 1 recipe, which is where its demand comes from.
• It binds when equipped: tradeable until someone wears it, so each one sells once.
• Disenchants into Strange Dust, Lesser Magic Essence, worth about 3s 18c on Normal Horde today. Odds below.

• Fine Leather Gloves · Leatherworking 40 · trainer
  • 4× Light Leather
  • 2× Coarse Thread
  • 1× Cured Light Hide

• Strange Dust80% of the time · 1 to 22s 40c
• Lesser Magic Essence20% of the time · 1 to 21s

Expected value 3s 18c per disenchant at Normal Horde medians. That is above the item's own median of 3s, so an enchanter can buy it to shard.

Vanilla disenchant tables by quality and item level; the same estimate the addon shows in tooltips.
