How to make gold in WoW Forever
One page per level band and one per class with a gold mechanic of its own. Each says what your character can reach, what to sell and what to skip, and prices it from the latest scans of the market you choose: the drops at your level worth farming, the recipes at your skill that clear the auction house cut, the materials in demand, and what is cheap right now.

How to make gold in World of Warcraft: ForeverGold making in a game with no realms: why the usual server tricks do not apply, what a deep market rewards instead, and the four approaches that survive a market this liquid.
By level
- Level 1 to 10At level 1 to 10 the auction house pays for what higher characters cannot be bothered to farm: low cloth, low herbs and ore, and the odd starter-zone drop.
- Level 10 to 20Level 10 to 20 is where a gatherer first outearns a quester: the second tier of herbs, ore and leather is in demand from every crafter levelling a profession.
- Level 20 to 30By level 20 to 30 the mid-tier materials become the busiest trade on the house, because every profession needs them to pass 150 skill.
- Level 30 to 40Level 30 to 40 is the mount stretch: the single largest purchase before endgame, and the reason to sell everything that is not nailed down.
- Level 40 to 50With the mount bought, level 40 to 50 is where a character starts to build the gold that endgame consumes: the mount doubles your farming speed, so your hourly income should double with it.
- Level 50 to 60Level 50 to 60 is the last stretch, and everything you gather here is what endgame consumes: top-tier cloth, herbs, ore and leather hold their price because raids burn them every week.
- Level 60At level 60 gold comes from supplying what raids and PvP consume every week: flasks, potions, food, enchanting materials and the cloth, herbs and ore behind them.
By class
Four classes earn in a way the others cannot. The other five follow the level guides with a profession on top, which is the whole answer for them.
- Mage gold guideA Mage never buys food or water, which is the largest recurring cost every other class carries, so a Mage banks what others spend from level 1.
- Rogue gold guidePick Pocket is gold on every humanoid you were going to kill anyway; the junkboxes it yields hold coin, potions and the odd green.
- Hunter gold guideA Hunter with a pet solos beasts that would kill another class at the same level, which puts skinning nodes, hides and scales in reach earlier than anyone else.
- Warlock gold guideA Warlock with two friends is a summoning service, and a summon to a raid or dungeon door is worth paying for every week of the game.
