Markets

A market is one auction house economy in World of Warcraft: Forever: a ruleset, a faction, and a region. Each page shows the most listed items with the latest price, the 7-day trend, and when the market was last observed. A market has prices only where somebody is scanning, so the ones with data are listed first and the rest say what they are waiting for.

Why Forever has twelve markets and not hundreds

Classic Era has an auction house per realm per faction, hundreds of small economies where one person can move a price. Forever has no realms, so everyone on a ruleset and a faction shares one house in each region: Normal, PvP and RP, each with a Horde and an Alliance side, six markets each in the US, Europe and China, which open with the game. A market here is exactly one of those houses, with its own prices, history and deals, and an item page shows the same item across all of them side by side.

A market has prices because somebody scanned it. Players running the addon open the auction house, the addon records every listing, and sync uploads the scan; the site keeps the cheapest listing, the median across all units and 7, 30 and 90 day history per item. The auction house page explains the houses, the cuts and the neutral auctioneers that let Horde and Alliance trade, and the economy page compares how much gold each house lists.

Common questions

How many auction house markets does WoW Forever have?
Eighteen markets, six in the US, six in Europe and six in China: Normal, PvP and RP rulesets in each region, each with a Horde house and an Alliance house. 4 have prices from player scans right now: Normal Alliance US, Normal Horde US, PvP Alliance US, PvP Horde US. RP Alliance US and RP Horde US are not open in the beta yet, the six EU markets open with the game at midnight CET on 5 November, and the six CN markets open with the game at 6 am China time on 5 November.
Why does a market say no scans yet?
Because no player has uploaded a scan of that house. Prices come only from the addon; the site never fills a market in from another one. The first player to scan a market prices it for everyone.
How fresh are the prices?
As fresh as the last upload. The newest scan on any market is from 2026-10-23 16:18 UTC. Each market page says when it was last scanned, and a price older than its source usually allows is marked stale rather than hidden.
Do Horde and Alliance share prices?
No. Each faction has its own house on every ruleset, and only the neutral auctioneers in Gadgetzan, Booty Bay and Everlook see both. The gap between the two factions on one ruleset is the one arbitrage Forever leaves open; every item page shows both sides.
What is on a market page?
The most listed items with the latest price, units and 7 day trend, the biggest risers and fallers of the week, the best deals right now, and the import string that puts the whole table into the addon without the sync app.
