  • Every Tuesday, with the weekly market report and The Ledger email, from the week of scans before it. Each edition is written from the numbers alone, so it never says more than the market does. Current prices are each house's newest full scan; a partial scan, which sees only part of each item's listings, is never used.
  • Gathering compares each raw material's latest median with its 7 day median, counting only materials with at least twenty units listed, and groups them by kind.
  • Crafting prices every recipe at the house it is sold on, less the 5 percent cut, and keeps only results that are listed through the week, so a profit on paper with no buyers does not count.
  • The limits. These are listings, not sales: a margin assumes a sale at the median, and a thin market moves when you list into it. The price guide explains how a scan becomes a price.
