What we store

When you join the waitlist we store your email address, the time you signed up, whether you confirmed it, and a salted hash of your IP address used only to block abuse. We do not store your IP address itself.

If you run the addon and choose to contribute, AHledger sync uploads two things under your upload key: auction house snapshots (listings, no seller names), and item source observations: which creature, object, vendor or quest gave which item, the zone, counts and vendor prices. Neither carries a character or account name. Both switches are in the addon's options and both are off the moment you turn them off; revoking the key on your account page stops uploads at once. Source observations are kept per key for aggregation and can be deleted with the key.

What we send

One email asking you to confirm, a welcome when you do, one reminder the week before launch, one email when AHledger launches, and then The Ledger, our weekly report. Nothing is sent until you confirm. Every email carries a one-click unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing deletes your record.

If you have an account with an upload key, we may also email you when a new version of AHledger sync is released, at most once per release. Each of those carries a link that stops them; your account, keys and alerts are untouched.

The deals digest is separate and only ever asked for: on a market's deals page you give an address and confirm it by email, or on your account page you tick the markets you want. We store the address, the markets, how often you asked for it, when you confirmed, and a salted hash of the IP that signed up. Each edition carries a one-click stop link, and stopping keeps nothing but the fact that you stopped, so no later signup can restart it without you.

Erasure

The unsubscribe link deletes your record entirely; nothing is retained. You can also write through the contact form and we will delete it by hand.

Tracking

This site sets no advertising cookies and sells nothing about you. Site analytics run through Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics, which set analytics cookies (such as _ga) to tell returning visitors from new ones and to count which pages are read; Google processes that data on our instructions and it is not joined to your account or your email. When you open a search result we count one click for that item on that day, with nothing about you attached; those counts drive the popular items list. Recently viewed items are kept only in your own browser.

Processors

Email is delivered through Resend. The site is hosted on Vercel and the database on Timescale Cloud. Site analytics are processed by Google (Tag Manager and Analytics). Each processes data only on our instructions.
