WoW Forever open data
Four datasets, all free with attribution: the auction house prices players scan, the catalog the game client carries, what players see in game as they play, and the weekly reports built from the first two. Nothing comes from a third-party database, and every number can be traced to a scan, a build or a player who saw it.
Auction house prices
Players scan the auction house with the AHledger addon and upload the scan. Each scan records every listing on one market at that moment. The site keeps the cheapest listing, the median across all units, the quantity and 7, 30 and 90 day history per item and market. 4 of 6 Forever markets have scans; the newest is from October 4, 2026.
Read it on the market pages, per item on its page, through the API, or as the deals feed per market. Raw scans are archived daily.
The item and recipe catalog
27,459 items, every recipe with its reagents and skill thresholds, item sets, class spells and talents, 31 dungeons and raids with their bosses in order, and 6,609 quest ids, read from the World of Warcraft: Forever beta client each build and compared with the Classic Era record. The current build is 1.60.1 (build 70205), imported October 3, 2026.
Browse it from every item, every recipe and every build; fetch it as JSON from the catalog endpoint; follow builds by RSS; read the new items, the dungeons and raids and the quests as one plain text file at llms-full.txt.
What players see in game
With item sources switched on, the addon notes what a loot window, a vendor, a quest window or a fishing cast gave, and sync uploads the table beside the scans. The site sums it across contributors: drop rates once enough loot windows have been opened, vendor stock and prices, what drops inside each dungeon and raid, and the facts of each quest (title, level, zone, giver, rewards, money, experience). The quest text itself is never recorded. So far: 24 zones and 342 creatures and vendors with reports, and 518 quests seen.
Browse it by zone, creature and vendor, dungeon and raid or quest, and on every item page under its sources. Nothing about the player who saw it travels with it. The people behind the scans, those who chose to be named, are on the contributors page.
Weekly market reports
Every Tuesday, per market: what rose and fell against the 7 day median, the most gold on each house, the recipes that paid and the best deals as the report went out. 1 edition so far. Read them at the reports or by RSS.
Terms
Free use, personal or commercial, on two conditions: credit AHledger with a link to ahledger.com wherever the data is shown, and do not present the data as your own scan or resell it as a feed. The full wording is on the developers page; embedding a live card is covered on the embed page. Questions go through the contact form.
