How to make gold at level 20 to 30

• Vendors sell it for 1g 30s 49c and buy it back for 26s 9c. That is the ceiling for an auction price while vendors stock it.
• Crafted by Leatherworking at skill 130; the recipe comes from a trainer. Reagents below.
• It binds when equipped: tradeable until someone wears it, so each one sells once.
• Disenchants into Vision Dust, Lesser Mystic Essence, Small Glowing Shard, worth about 1g 80c on Normal Horde today. Odds below.

• Barbaric Shoulders · Leatherworking 130 · trainer
  • 8× Heavy Leather
  • 2× Fine Thread
  • 1× Cured Heavy Hide

• Vision Dust75% of the time · 1 to 274s 97c
• Lesser Mystic Essence20% of the time · 1 to 248s 76c
• Small Glowing Shard5% of the time36s 70c

Expected value 1g 80c per disenchant at Normal Horde medians. More than the 26s 9c a vendor pays for it.

Vanilla disenchant tables by quality and item level; the same estimate the addon shows in tooltips.
