How to make gold at level 1 to 10

• Vendors sell it for 2s 45c and buy it back for 49c. That is the ceiling for an auction price while vendors stock it.
• Crafted by Blacksmithing at skill 20; the recipe comes from a trainer. Reagents below.
• It binds when equipped: tradeable until someone wears it, so each one sells once.
• Disenchants into Strange Dust, Lesser Magic Essence, worth about 3s 45c on PvP Horde today. Odds below.

• Copper Chain Boots · Blacksmithing 20 · trainer
  • 8× Copper Bar

• Strange Dust80% of the time · 1 to 22s 49c
• Lesser Magic Essence20% of the time · 1 to 21s 54c

Expected value 3s 45c per disenchant at PvP Horde medians. More than the 49c a vendor pays for it.

Vanilla disenchant tables by quality and item level; the same estimate the addon shows in tooltips.
