How to make gold at level 1 to 10

• Vendors sell it for 7s 12c and buy it back for 1s 42c. That is the ceiling for an auction price while vendors stock it.
• Crafted by Blacksmithing at skill 30; the recipe comes from a trainer. Reagents below.
• It binds when equipped: tradeable until someone wears it, so each one sells once.
• Disenchants into Strange Dust, Lesser Magic Essence, worth about 3s 18c on Normal Horde today. Odds below.

• Copper Chain Vest · Blacksmithing 30 · trainer
  • 8× Copper Bar
  • 2× Rough Grinding Stone
  • 1× Malachite

• Strange Dust80% of the time · 1 to 22s 40c
• Lesser Magic Essence20% of the time · 1 to 21s

Expected value 3s 18c per disenchant at Normal Horde medians. More than the 1s 42c a vendor pays for it.

Vanilla disenchant tables by quality and item level; the same estimate the addon shows in tooltips.
