How to make gold at level 20 to 30

• Vendors sell it for 1g 57s 56c and buy it back for 31s 51c. That is the ceiling for an auction price while vendors stock it.
• Crafted by Leatherworking at skill 125; the recipe comes from a trainer. Reagents below.
• It binds when equipped: tradeable until someone wears it, so each one sells once.
• Disenchants into Vision Dust, Lesser Mystic Essence, Small Glowing Shard, worth about 81s 63c on PvP Horde today. Odds below.

• Barbaric Leggings · Leatherworking 125 · trainer
  • 10× Heavy Leather
  • 2× Fine Thread
  • 1× Moss Agate

• Vision Dust75% of the time · 1 to 263s 73c
• Lesser Mystic Essence20% of the time · 1 to 228s 99c
• Small Glowing Shard5% of the time24s 88c

Expected value 81s 63c per disenchant at PvP Horde medians. More than the 31s 51c a vendor pays for it.

Vanilla disenchant tables by quality and item level; the same estimate the addon shows in tooltips.
