How to make gold at level 20 to 30

• Vendors sell it for 1g 54s 85c and buy it back for 30s 97c. That is the ceiling for an auction price while vendors stock it.
• Crafted by Leatherworking at skill 120; the recipe comes from a trainer. Reagents below.
• It binds when equipped: tradeable until someone wears it, so each one sells once.
• Disenchants into Vision Dust, Lesser Mystic Essence, Small Glowing Shard, worth about 63s 80c on PvP Alliance today. Odds below.

• Dusky Leather Leggings · Leatherworking 120 · trainer
  • 10× Heavy Leather
  • 2× Fine Thread
  • 1× Black Dye

• Vision Dust75% of the time · 1 to 250s 85c
• Lesser Mystic Essence20% of the time · 1 to 218s 98c
• Small Glowing Shard5% of the time18s

Expected value 63s 80c per disenchant at PvP Alliance medians. More than the 30s 97c a vendor pays for it.

Vanilla disenchant tables by quality and item level; the same estimate the addon shows in tooltips.
