How to make gold at level 20 to 30

• Not tradeable. It binds when picked up, so it is earned in play and never listed on the auction house.
• Vendors sell it for 49s 75c and buy it back for 12s 43c. That is the ceiling for an auction price while vendors stock it.
• Disenchants into Soul Dust, Greater Astral Essence, Large Glimmering Shard, worth about 63s 43c on Normal Alliance US today. Odds below.

• Soul Dust75% of the time · 1 to 28s 19c
• Greater Astral Essence20% of the time · 1 to 280s 75c
• Large Glimmering Shard5% of the time5g 99s 99c

Expected value 63s 43c per disenchant at Normal Alliance US medians. More than the 12s 43c a vendor pays for it.

Vanilla disenchant tables by quality and item level; the same estimate the addon shows in tooltips.
