• Not tradeable. It binds when picked up, so it is earned in play and never listed on the auction house.
• Vendors sell it for 38s 75c and buy it back for 9s 68c. That is the ceiling for an auction price while vendors stock it.
• Quest reward from The Coastal Menace.
• Sources are what 4 players running the addon saw in game, summed across everyone who contributes; a rate needs at least twenty loot windows.
• Disenchants into Strange Dust, Lesser Astral Essence, Small Glimmering Shard, worth about 10s 24c on Normal Alliance US today. Odds below.

• Westfall

• Strange Dust75% of the time · 4 to 61s 21c
• Lesser Astral Essence15% of the time · 1 to 221s 94c
• Small Glimmering Shard10% of the time7s 71c

Expected value 10s 24c per disenchant at Normal Alliance US medians. More than the 9s 68c a vendor pays for it.

Vanilla disenchant tables by quality and item level; the same estimate the addon shows in tooltips.
