Where it comes from

  • Not tradeable. It binds when picked up, so it is earned in play and never listed on the auction house.
  • Vendors sell it for 17g 9s and buy it back for 3g 41s 94c. That is the ceiling for an auction price while vendors stock it.
  • Disenchants into Illusion Dust, Greater Eternal Essence, Large Brilliant Shard, worth about 9g on Normal Alliance US today. Odds below.

Disenchants into

Expected value 9g per disenchant at Normal Alliance US medians, counting only the priced materials. More than the 3g 41s 94c a vendor pays for it.

Vanilla disenchant tables by quality and item level; the same estimate the addon shows in tooltips.
