How to make gold at level 40 to 50

• Vendors sell it for 3g 25s 68c and buy it back for 81s 42c. That is the ceiling for an auction price while vendors stock it.
• It binds when equipped: tradeable until someone wears it, so each one sells once.
• Disenchants into Dream Dust, Lesser Eternal Essence, Small Brilliant Shard, worth about 1g 51s 18c on Normal Alliance US today. Odds below.

Expected value 1g 51s 18c per disenchant at Normal Alliance US medians, counting only the priced materials. More than the 81s 42c a vendor pays for it.

Vanilla disenchant tables by quality and item level; the same estimate the addon shows in tooltips.
