How to make gold at level 1 to 10

• Vendors sell it for 6s 75c and buy it back for 1s 35c. That is the ceiling for an auction price while vendors stock it.
• It binds when equipped: tradeable until someone wears it, so each one sells once.
• Disenchants into Strange Dust, Lesser Magic Essence, worth about 3s 45c on Normal Alliance US today. Odds below.

• Strange Dust20% of the time · 1 to 21s 21c
• Lesser Magic Essence80% of the time · 1 to 22s 58c

Expected value 3s 45c per disenchant at Normal Alliance US medians. More than the 1s 35c a vendor pays for it.

Vanilla disenchant tables by quality and item level; the same estimate the addon shows in tooltips.
