How to make gold at level 30 to 40

• Vendors sell it for 1g 36s 94c and buy it back for 27s 38c. That is the ceiling for an auction price while vendors stock it.
• Crafted by Leatherworking at skill 145; the recipe comes from a trainer. Reagents below.
• It binds when equipped: tradeable until someone wears it, so each one sells once.
• Disenchants into Vision Dust, Greater Mystic Essence, Large Glowing Shard, worth about 1g 28s 55c on PvP Horde today. Odds below.

• Barbaric Harness · Leatherworking 145 · trainer
  • 14× Heavy Leather
  • 2× Fine Thread
  • 1× Iron Buckle

• Vision Dust75% of the time · 2 to 526s 49c
• Greater Mystic Essence20% of the time · 1 to 229s 90c
• Large Glowing Shard5% of the time10g 1s

Expected value 1g 28s 55c per disenchant at PvP Horde medians. More than the 27s 38c a vendor pays for it.

Vanilla disenchant tables by quality and item level; the same estimate the addon shows in tooltips.
