How to make gold at level 20 to 30

• Vendors sell it for 1g 12s 1c and buy it back for 22s 40c. That is the ceiling for an auction price while vendors stock it.
• Crafted by Tailoring at skill 120; the recipe comes from a trainer. Reagents below.
• It binds when equipped: tradeable until someone wears it, so each one sells once.
• Disenchants into Vision Dust, Lesser Mystic Essence, Small Glowing Shard, worth about 54s 53c on Normal Alliance today. Odds below.

• Azure Silk Cloak · Tailoring 120 · trainer
  • 3× Bolt of Silk Cloth
  • 2× Blue Dye
  • 2× Fine Thread

• Vision Dust75% of the time · 1 to 242s 48c
• Lesser Mystic Essence20% of the time · 1 to 217s
• Small Glowing Shard5% of the time32s 96c

Expected value 54s 53c per disenchant at Normal Alliance medians. More than the 22s 40c a vendor pays for it.

Vanilla disenchant tables by quality and item level; the same estimate the addon shows in tooltips.
