How to make gold at level 30 to 40

• Vendors sell it for 2g 69s 36c and buy it back for 53s 87c. That is the ceiling for an auction price while vendors stock it.
• Crafted by Blacksmithing at skill 165; the recipe comes from a trainer. Reagents below.
• It binds when equipped: tradeable until someone wears it, so each one sells once.
• Disenchants into Dream Dust, Lesser Nether Essence, Small Radiant Shard, worth about 1g 86s 73c on PvP Horde today. Odds below.

• Heavy Mithril Pants · Blacksmithing 165 · trainer
  • 10× Mithril Bar
  • 2× Lesser Moonstone

• Dream Dust75% of the time · 1 to 275s 97c
• Lesser Nether Essence20% of the time · 1 to 21g 70s 90c
• Small Radiant Shard5% of the time9g 99s 95c

Expected value 1g 86s 73c per disenchant at PvP Horde medians. More than the 53s 87c a vendor pays for it.

Vanilla disenchant tables by quality and item level; the same estimate the addon shows in tooltips.
