How to make gold at level 30 to 40

• Vendors sell it for 3g 71s 9c and buy it back for 74s 21c. That is the ceiling for an auction price while vendors stock it.
• Crafted by Leatherworking at skill 180; the recipe comes from a trainer. Reagents below.
• It binds when equipped: tradeable until someone wears it, so each one sells once.
• Disenchants into Small Radiant Shard, worth about 4g 99s 99c on Normal Alliance US today. Odds below.

• Wolfshead Helm · Leatherworking 180 · trainer
  • 18× Thick Leather
  • 8× Wicked Claw
  • 4× Heavy Silken Thread
  • 2× Cured Thick Hide
  • 2× Thick Wolfhide

• Small Radiant Shardalways4g 99s 99c

Expected value 4g 99s 99c per disenchant at Normal Alliance US medians. More than the 74s 21c a vendor pays for it.

Vanilla disenchant tables by quality and item level; the same estimate the addon shows in tooltips.
