How to make gold at level 20 to 30

• Vendors sell it for 79s 40c and buy it back for 15s 88c. That is the ceiling for an auction price while vendors stock it.
• Disenchants into Soul Dust, Lesser Mystic Essence, Small Glowing Shard, worth about 40s 62c on Normal Alliance US today. Odds below.

• Soul Dust75% of the time · 2 to 58s 19c
• Lesser Mystic Essence20% of the time · 1 to 258s 99c
• Small Glowing Shard5% of the time28s 50c

Expected value 40s 62c per disenchant at Normal Alliance US medians. That is above the item's own median of 24s, so an enchanter can buy it to shard.

Vanilla disenchant tables by quality and item level; the same estimate the addon shows in tooltips.
