How to make gold at level 20 to 30

• Vendors sell it for 1g 8s 64c and buy it back for 27s 16c. That is the ceiling for an auction price while vendors stock it.
• It binds when equipped: tradeable until someone wears it, so each one sells once.
• Disenchants into Vision Dust, Lesser Mystic Essence, Small Glowing Shard, worth about 43s 55c on Normal Alliance US today. Odds below.

• Vision Dust75% of the time · 1 to 229s 95c
• Lesser Mystic Essence20% of the time · 1 to 228s 19c
• Small Glowing Shard5% of the time28s

Expected value 43s 55c per disenchant at Normal Alliance US medians. More than the 27s 16c a vendor pays for it.

Vanilla disenchant tables by quality and item level; the same estimate the addon shows in tooltips.
