How to make gold at level 20 to 30

• Vendors sell it for 96s 84c and buy it back for 24s 21c. That is the ceiling for an auction price while vendors stock it.
• It binds when equipped: tradeable until someone wears it, so each one sells once.
• Disenchants into Soul Dust, Lesser Mystic Essence, Small Glowing Shard, worth about 40s 62c on Normal Alliance US today. Odds below.

• Soul Dust75% of the time · 2 to 58s 19c
• Lesser Mystic Essence20% of the time · 1 to 258s 99c
• Small Glowing Shard5% of the time28s 50c

Expected value 40s 62c per disenchant at Normal Alliance US medians. More than the 24s 21c a vendor pays for it.

Vanilla disenchant tables by quality and item level; the same estimate the addon shows in tooltips.
