How to make gold at level 30 to 40

• Vendors sell it for 1g 65s 84c and buy it back for 41s 46c. That is the ceiling for an auction price while vendors stock it.
• It binds when equipped: tradeable until someone wears it, so each one sells once.
• Disenchants into Vision Dust, Greater Mystic Essence, Large Glowing Shard, worth about 80s 52c on Normal Alliance US today. Odds below.

• Vision Dust75% of the time · 1 to 234s 96c
• Greater Mystic Essence20% of the time · 1 to 299s
• Large Glowing Shard5% of the time2g 29s 97c

Expected value 80s 52c per disenchant at Normal Alliance US medians. More than the 41s 46c a vendor pays for it.

Vanilla disenchant tables by quality and item level; the same estimate the addon shows in tooltips.
