How to make gold at level 20 to 30

• Vendors sell it for 1g 32s 79c and buy it back for 26s 55c. That is the ceiling for an auction price while vendors stock it.
• Found in Large Solid Chest in Scarlet Monastery (1% of 276 looted).
• Sources are what 2 players running the addon saw in game, summed across everyone who contributes; a rate needs at least twenty loot windows.
• Disenchants into Small Glowing Shard, worth about 28s 50c on Normal Alliance US today. Odds below.

Seen inside Scarlet Monastery.

• Small Glowing Shardalways28s 50c

Expected value 28s 50c per disenchant at Normal Alliance US medians. More than the 26s 55c a vendor pays for it.

Vanilla disenchant tables by quality and item level; the same estimate the addon shows in tooltips.
