How to make gold at level 10 to 20

• Vendors sell it for 6s 25c and buy it back for 1s 25c. That is the ceiling for an auction price while vendors stock it.
• Crafted by Leatherworking at skill 45; the recipe comes from a trainer. Reagents below.
• Consumed by 1 recipe, which is where its demand comes from.
• It binds when equipped: tradeable until someone wears it, so each one sells once.
• Disenchants into Strange Dust, Greater Magic Essence, Small Glimmering Shard, worth about 22s 76c on Normal Horde US today. Odds below.

• Fine Leather Belt · Leatherworking 45 · trainer
  • 6× Light Leather
  • 2× Coarse Thread

• Strange Dust75% of the time · 2 to 3no price yet
• Greater Magic Essence20% of the time · 1 to 275s 87c
• Small Glimmering Shard5% of the timeno price yet

Expected value 22s 76c per disenchant at Normal Horde US medians, counting only the priced materials. That is above the item's own median of 20s, so an enchanter can buy it to shard.

Vanilla disenchant tables by quality and item level; the same estimate the addon shows in tooltips.
