How to make gold at level 20 to 30

• Vendors sell it for 59s 99c and buy it back for 11s 99c. That is the ceiling for an auction price while vendors stock it.
• Crafted by Leatherworking at skill 90; the recipe comes from a trainer. Reagents below.
• It binds when equipped: tradeable until someone wears it, so each one sells once.
• Disenchants into Soul Dust, Greater Astral Essence, Large Glimmering Shard, worth about 18s 48c on Normal Alliance US today. Odds below.

• Hillman's Shoulders · Leatherworking 90 · trainer
  • 4× Medium Leather
  • 1× Cured Medium Hide
  • 1× Fine Thread

• Soul Dust75% of the time · 1 to 26s 43c
• Greater Astral Essence20% of the time · 1 to 224s 99c
• Large Glimmering Shard5% of the time74s 99c

Expected value 18s 48c per disenchant at Normal Alliance US medians. That is above the item's own median of 14s, so an enchanter can buy it to shard.

Vanilla disenchant tables by quality and item level; the same estimate the addon shows in tooltips.
