How to make gold at level 10 to 20

• Vendors sell it for 70s 40c and buy it back for 14s 8c. That is the ceiling for an auction price while vendors stock it.
• Sold by Vrang Wildgore in The Barrens for 63s 36c.
• Sources are what 6 players running the addon saw in game, summed across everyone who contributes; a rate needs at least twenty loot windows.
• It binds when equipped: tradeable until someone wears it, so each one sells once.
• Disenchants into Strange Dust, Greater Magic Essence, Small Glimmering Shard, worth about 85s 35c on Normal Horde US today. Odds below.

• The Barrens

• Strange Dust20% of the time · 2 to 3no price yet
• Greater Magic Essence75% of the time · 1 to 275s 87c
• Small Glimmering Shard5% of the timeno price yet

Expected value 85s 35c per disenchant at Normal Horde US medians, counting only the priced materials. More than the 14s 8c a vendor pays for it.

Vanilla disenchant tables by quality and item level; the same estimate the addon shows in tooltips.
