How to make gold at level 10 to 20

• Vendors sell it for 35s 15c and buy it back for 7s 3c. That is the ceiling for an auction price while vendors stock it.
• Sold by Kris Legace in Hillsbrad Foothills (Durnholde Keep) for 35s 15c, Bernard Brubaker in Redridge Mountains for 30s 6c, Vexspindle in The Barrens (Ratchet) for 35s 15c.
• Sources are what 2 players running the addon saw in game, summed across everyone who contributes; a rate needs at least twenty loot windows.
• It binds when equipped: tradeable until someone wears it, so each one sells once.
• Disenchants into Strange Dust, Lesser Astral Essence, Small Glimmering Shard, worth about 10s 24c on Normal Alliance US today. Odds below.

• Hillsbrad Foothills
• Redridge Mountains
• The Barrens

• Strange Dust75% of the time · 4 to 61s 21c
• Lesser Astral Essence15% of the time · 1 to 221s 94c
• Small Glimmering Shard10% of the time7s 71c

Expected value 10s 24c per disenchant at Normal Alliance US medians. More than the 7s 3c a vendor pays for it.

Vanilla disenchant tables by quality and item level; the same estimate the addon shows in tooltips.
