It is crafted by Leatherworking at skill 150 from 10 Heavy Leather, 2 Black Dye, 2 Bolt of Silk Cloth and 1 Iron Buckle; the recipe comes from a trainer.

What is Dusky Belt used for?

It is a reagent in 1 Forever recipe, including Gnomish Harm Prevention Belt.

No auction house scans for Normal Alliance yet. The price appears here after the first scan from the AHledger addon; vendors pay 25s 87c.

Is Dusky Belt different in Forever than in Classic Era?

No. The Forever beta keeps the same item level, requirements, and vendor prices as Classic Era.

How fast does Dusky Belt sell on the auction house?

Barely sells on Normal Alliance: none sold this week over the last week. AHledger estimates it from consecutive scans of the auction house; a cancelled listing can look like a sale, so the figure is a guide.

Unchanged from Classic Era: Dusky Belt keeps the same item level, requirements, stats, and vendor prices in the Forever beta.

Era values from Blizzard's Game Data API; Forever values from Forever's game data.

How to make gold at level 30 to 40

• Vendors sell it for 1g 29s 39c and buy it back for 25s 87c. That is the ceiling for an auction price while vendors stock it.
• Crafted by Leatherworking at skill 150; the recipe comes from a trainer. Reagents below.
• Consumed by 1 recipe, which is where its demand comes from.
• It binds when equipped: tradeable until someone wears it, so each one sells once.
• Disenchants into Vision Dust, Greater Mystic Essence, Large Glowing Shard, worth about 1g 48s 29c on Normal Alliance today. Odds below.

• Dusky Belt · Leatherworking 150 · trainer
  • 10× Heavy Leather
  • 2× Black Dye
  • 2× Bolt of Silk Cloth
  • 1× Iron Buckle

• Vision Dust75% of the time · 2 to 542s 48c
• Greater Mystic Essence20% of the time · 1 to 253s 94c
• Large Glowing Shard5% of the time4g 12s

Expected value 1g 48s 29c per disenchant at Normal Alliance medians. More than the 25s 87c a vendor pays for it.

Vanilla disenchant tables by quality and item level; the same estimate the addon shows in tooltips.
