How to make gold at level 30 to 40

• Vendors sell it for 4g 2s 65c and buy it back for 80s 53c. That is the ceiling for an auction price while vendors stock it.
• Crafted by Blacksmithing at skill 165; the recipe comes from a trainer. Reagents below.
• It binds when equipped: tradeable until someone wears it, so each one sells once.
• Disenchants into Dream Dust, Lesser Nether Essence, Small Radiant Shard, worth about 1g 64s 57c on PvP Alliance today. Odds below.

• Mithril Plate Pants · Blacksmithing 165 · trainer
  • 12× Mithril Bar

• Dream Dust75% of the time · 1 to 250s
• Lesser Nether Essence20% of the time · 1 to 21g 77s 76c
• Small Radiant Shard5% of the time10g 99s

Expected value 1g 64s 57c per disenchant at PvP Alliance medians. More than the 80s 53c a vendor pays for it.

Vanilla disenchant tables by quality and item level; the same estimate the addon shows in tooltips.
