How to make gold at level 30 to 40

• Vendors sell it for 6g 26s 1c and buy it back for 1g 25s 20c. That is the ceiling for an auction price while vendors stock it.
• Crafted by Blacksmithing at skill 170; the recipe comes from a trainer. Reagents below.
• It binds when equipped: tradeable until someone wears it, so each one sells once.
• Disenchants into Vision Dust, Lesser Nether Essence, Small Radiant Shard, worth about 3g 36s 62c on PvP Horde US today. Odds below.

• Heavy Mithril Axe · Blacksmithing 170 · trainer
  • 12× Mithril Bar
  • 4× Heavy Leather
  • 2× Citrine
  • 1× Solid Grinding Stone

• Vision Dust20% of the time · 2 to 530s
• Lesser Nether Essence75% of the time · 1 to 21g 25s

Expected value 3g 36s 62c per disenchant at PvP Horde US medians. More than the 1g 25s 20c a vendor pays for it.

Vanilla disenchant tables by quality and item level; the same estimate the addon shows in tooltips.
