World of Warcraft: Forever · pre-launch patch build · imported 2026-10-30

WoW Forever pre-launch patch 1.60.1 (build 70707): 28 retuned, 20 removed

28 changed, 20 removed. Each line is a difference between this build's item tables and the previous one; removed items keep their pages so links stay alive. The class spell, talent and recipe tables are re-read from every build too; their pages carry the build they were read from. The newest build always lives at one address.

In short

  • This is the pre-launch patch: the first build Blizzard published on the live game rather than the beta, first seen on 2026-10-30. It is the client the game launches with on 4 November.
  • In the item tables it 28 retuned, 20 removed: the lists below name every one, with the old and new values.
  • The class spells, talents and racials were re-read from it too, and compared with the last beta build: What the WoW Forever pre-launch patch changed for every class. The talent calculators run on these trees.

What this build did

28 existing items changed: 16 in name, 10 in name, item level, quality, class, type, requires, 1 in requires. A change to item level or requirement on gear that already existed is a tuning pass; a change to a name is usually a placeholder being finished.

20 items were removed from the tables. Their pages stay up so links keep working; a removed item is usually a placeholder that was replaced or content that was pulled back for later.

For the auction house: none of the additions are trade goods, consumables, recipes or reagents, so this build changes what drops rather than what trades.
