How to make gold at level 20 to 30

• Vendors sell it for 52s 48c and buy it back for 10s 49c. That is the ceiling for an auction price while vendors stock it.
• Crafted by Leatherworking at skill 105; the recipe comes from a trainer. Reagents below.
• It binds when equipped: tradeable until someone wears it, so each one sells once.
• Disenchants into Soul Dust, Greater Astral Essence, Large Glimmering Shard, worth about 28s 7c on Normal Alliance US today. Odds below.

• Hillman's Leather Gloves · Leatherworking 105 · trainer
  • 14× Medium Leather
  • 4× Fine Thread

• Soul Dust75% of the time · 2 to 56s 43c
• Greater Astral Essence20% of the time · 1 to 224s 99c
• Large Glimmering Shard5% of the time74s

Expected value 28s 7c per disenchant at Normal Alliance US medians. That is above the item's own median of 14s, so an enchanter can buy it to shard.

Vanilla disenchant tables by quality and item level; the same estimate the addon shows in tooltips.
